Christy was born and raised in Downeast Maine and never considered living anywhere else. As a lifelong resident, she has a firsthand appreciation for the region's natural beauty and distinctive culture. Her educational journey began at Bowdoin College, where she earned bachelor’s degrees in psychology and sociology. These degrees provided her with a strong foundation in human behavior and social dynamics, skills that have proven invaluable in her career.

She later obtained a teacher certification from the University of Maine at Machias, further enhancing her ability to communicate effectively and guide others. For over two decades, she has worked as a licensed social worker and educational advisor. These roles have honed her exceptional listening, leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. She is dedicated to providing top-notch customer service and takes pride in her conscientious, dependable, and hardworking approach. In addition to her role as a Realtor, Christy is employed as the Early College Advising and Success Coordinator by the University of Maine System. Beyond her professional endeavors, she is actively involved in her local community as a volunteer for the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute and a board member for the Maine Home Education Alliance.

Christy currently resides in Jonesport with her husband and son. She also has 2 adult children who live in the area. In her free time, Christy enjoys spending quality time with her family, attending her son’s various sporting activities, taking pictures, and reading.
